Navy Day Celebrated






Every year the Indian Navy celebrates December 04th as the Navy Day to commemorate the glorious victory of the Indian Navy in the Indo-Pak War of 1971 and to salute the variant heroes who brought us this moment of pride.  On this occasion a wreath laying ceremony was held at Victory War Memorial here today.  Wreaths were laid by the Commodore Amar K Mahadevan, Naval Officer in Charge (Tamil Nadu and Puducherry), Brigadier Kulpreet Singh, Station Commander, ATNK&K Area, Air Commodore Rippon Gupta, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station, Tambaram and Inspector General         SP Sharma, Commander Coast Guard Region (East).
