First Online Application Base Rally (Army) For Tamil Nadu




First online application base rally (Army) for Tamilnadu will be held for Districts of Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram Vellore, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai & Puducherry from 04 Sep 2015.

The candidates can clarify all Army recruitment related queries from the online mobile application “Army Calling”. The application provides live chat facility in vernacular language for the aspiring candidates and can be downloaded from Google Play Store.

Keeping pace with current technological developments, Indian Army has made a major shift from open Rally system of recruitment to online application based recruitment. The new website of Directorate General Recruiting www.joinindianarmy.nic.in was launched by Lieutenant General Philip Campose, Vice Chief of Army Staff on 16 Jun 2015.

For State of Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, all recruitment rallies for Soldier category after 01 Sep 2015 will be based on online application. Eligible candidates can register themselves from numerous common service centre in Tamilnadu and Mee-Seva in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in addition to other available internet facilities.

With the launch of the website, the enrolment for officers entry (less UPSC entries) and recruitment for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs)/ Other Ranks (ORs) entry in the Indian Army will go
On-Line. Based on schedules planned, on-line applications will now be invited www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for all officers entries, less through UPSC and department entries. For JCOs / ORs there will then b “called for recruitment”. Candidates can “check their eligibility” on
the website and can apply on-line for the chosen/eligible career options in the Indian Army.

For On-Line Applications, candidates are advised to carry Education qualification certificates (including Matriculation Certificate), Personal Details (including permanent address with PIN number, Verification/ Domicile certificate, Personal e-mail id and Personal Mobile number.

Colonel Avinash Pitre, Director Recruiting organised a press meet today in connection with latest On-Line recruitment process, at Recruiting Office in Chennai and appealed candidates that “Touts and agents have no role to play and Candidates are advised not to be lured by such agents”.
