The frontline warship of Eastern fleet INS Satpura anchored off Ettikulam bay on 26 February 2017 on her maiden visit to Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala. The Commanding officer, INS Satpura and her crew was received by Commanding Officer INS Zamorin at Ezhimala. The Officers were taken on a guided tour of Seamanship facilities, Warship Simulator, Laboratories, Sports Complexes, Sailing Training Center and Equestrian Training Center during their visit at INA.
The Commanding Officer and Officers of INS Satpura interacted with officers of INA and exchanged valuable viewpoints pertaining to operational expectations and training attainments. An insight into the various training paradigm shift at INA over the years was also disseminated to the crew of INS Satpura.
The trainee Midshipmen who are in their terminal stages of training got an opportunity to interact with the Crew of INS Satpura over lunch during the course of their visit. The crew of the warship post their interaction with trainees weighed anchor off Ettikulam bay and proceeded with their impending operational tasks.
